Links of the Day

Lego Inauguration Gallery - Click the link for a full gallery of pictures of the Inauguration re-created Lego style at the California Legoland. Very impressive.

Sony, Microsoft Cutting Jobs - Nope, the bottom hasn't been reached yet as Microsoft has been forced layoff 5000 and Sony 6000 workers worldwide. Thanks Republicans, doing whatever big business wanted has turned out wonderfully.

Mad Magazine Goes Quarterly - Print is dying and it seems to be speeding up as newspapers go bankrupt and magazines end. Mad Magazine is also feeling the paint as it’s forced to go quarterly to stay alive. I remember when it used to be over a hundred pages now its will be 4 times a year for 56 pages. I get the feeling it’s just a matter of years now before magazines go completely online.

Fox Continues the Fear Card - As the Daily Show wonderfully illustrates, the wandering compass of morality continues at Fox News as they have reversed their philosophy on how a President should be handled. Where before, during a time of war, criticizing a President was nearly treasonous, now it’s ok to be unrelenting as they repeatedly play the fear card. Going by their talking heads you would think the nuclear bombs would be dropping any day now.

Japan Harry Potter Trailer - A new trailer from Japan that shows a few new scenes for the movie that is coming out this summer.
