Michael Piller Dead

Who you ask? Well Michael Piller help shaped the modern age of Star Trek, taking the reigns of Gene Roddenberry and exec producing Star Trek: TNG, the wonderful Deep Space Nine and Voyager. He was also producer of The Dead Zone.

He died at age 57 due to cancer. Info and excellent writeup of his work here.
