The exact ripple effect is unknown as it is highly likely that as jobs are cut, plants are closed, production slashed, and so forth their suppliers and business partners will also cut jobs or close completely. The end result is hundreds of thousands of jobs could be lost probably completely reversing the small recovery the economy was taking.
