Links of the Day

13-story Building Tips Over - A new apartment building (empty) in Shanghai, China tipped completely over, killing one. The cause is being blamed on nearby flood prevention walls for the Dianpu River. I just think the images are cool.

Vanity Fair's "It Came from Wasilla" - A look at Sarah Palin and her failure as a Vice Presidential candidate through the prism of her past behavior. The short of it is she has proven to be very ambitious, extremely petty, lazy, vain, and only effective when someone else does the heavy lifting (and usually gets fired shortly thereafter). She has a knack for creating new friends and making enemies of old friends. Basically she is gorgeous but she glides along by personality alone.

John Hodgman Correspondents' Dinner Speech - Hilarious speech from a few weeks ago where he calls Obama the first nerd President. Worth watching with many funny moments and a game President.

Dumbest Moments in Business in 2009 (so far) - Click the link for a slideshow that summarizes the various acts of stupidity and poor planning that effected business so far this year.

The Onion: Taco Bell's Green Menu - Amusing skit from The Onion introducing Taco Bell's 100% unnatural menu that includes no ingredients from nature including the beef.
