Barry Bonds Hits 714*

Barry Bonds hit his 714th career home run yesterday. Its a sad day for baseball for it shows that cheaters and druggies do win. Its a shame too for this milestone will forever have an asterisk after it for everyone knows the record wasn't earned. Also sad is that Barry Bonds will always be tarnished for his actions. He would have been one of the greatest players in the history of the game without his hitting records. He was a shoo-in for the hall of fame long before he began his quest. He didn't need to do steroids but his ego demanded it, and baseball condoned it. As a result of his actions, records that use to be great milestones have become meaningless.
